Cloud accounting for individuals, sole traders, non-trading companies and trusts — the files full accounting software is far too big for. Drop in a bank statement, ask Mabel to reconcile it, and the reports look after themselves.
Free for one entity. No credit card, no trial clock.
How it works
Mabel reads your statements, reconciles the bank, builds the workpapers and writes up the reports — and shows you each step as she goes.
CSV, PDF or a screenshot. Mabel reads it and knows which account it belongs to.
Reconcile it, build a workpaper, prepare the reports. You watch the steps tick off.
P&L, balance sheet and activity statement — accountant-ready, with last year alongside.
A scripted demonstration on example figures.
What Mabel does
Proper double-entry accounting, GST reporting, and financial reports you’d happily hand to an accountant — with an AI bookkeeper sitting inside them.
Your AI bookkeeper. Ask her anything about the file, get her to reconcile the bank account, post journals or build opening balances from a trial balance. Teach her once and she remembers.
Import a statement as CSV, PDF or even a screenshot. Match, create or transfer — with GST split out automatically at 1/11 of the gross.
Profit & loss, balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger, account transactions and journals. Compare periods, switch between accrual and cash, drill into any number.
G1, 1A and 1B totalled straight from the GST rates on your coded transactions. Pick a period, check it, lodge it.
Your trust, your company and your own file, side by side. Switch between them from the top of the screen — no separate subscriptions.
Connect Mabel to your own Claude account and run the whole job by chat — from your desktop, your phone, wherever you already are.
Who it’s for
Mabel is for individuals wanting to track their personal finances, sole traders and for basic entities — non-trading companies, trusts, anything with a handful of transactions a year and a BAS to think about.
Mabel deliberately doesn’t do:
If you run a trading business and need those, use Xero — we’d honestly tell you to. Mabel exists for everything smaller than that.
Pricing
Mabel is new and we want people using it. Your first entity costs nothing, extra entities are a few dollars a month, and if you connect your own Claude account there’s no cap on how much you use her.
Everything Mabel can do, for one entity.

50% off your first year
